Agree, I don't see it winning.

I'm going to go all out here and say Finland wins and Albania 2nd. Each with higher jury support than people are expecting.
Shoot me tomorrow if I'm wrong.
I would shoot you now. Albania 2nd? SERIOUSLY - I am scratching my head! Albania will flop in the televote and get 10th or even outside of the top 10. It is one of those entries that are overpredicted by the fandom

Yeah I think Swedens momentum has stalled
I think Swedens momentum stalled with the fandom, because we know it already a couple of weeks. But most of the general public did see Bara Bada Bastu for the first time this week so probably still hyped.

Although I'm totally rooting for Finland now, her stage performance was insane. But winning is maybe a bit to ambitious I'm afraid.

I think the jury could reward her performance much more than people are expecting. I'm not a fan of the song at all but she gave a good performance.

So I now think Austria will just do it. But closer than in 2021. I think Austria is a 21% chance of winning. Sweden a 20% and France a 19% chance
Something about the Austrian performance doesn't scream winner to me. The staging is cool, but I think viewers might struggle to connect. It feels very 'music video'. I also think this type of song needed a late running order.

She won't do well in the juries - her microphone stopped working mid-performance. It kept turning on and off and then loud and quiet. It was unfortunately a disaster - so the juries will down her from that happening

This is all why I have France as a 19% chance.

Today is Saturday 17 May 2025. The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 Grand Final takes place at St. Jakobshalle, Basel, Switzerland tonight, starting at 20:00 BST. The 26 countries taking part tonight, in order of performance, will be:

Norway, Luxembourg, Estonia, Israel, Lithuania, Spain, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Austria, Iceland, Latvia, Netherlands, Finland, Italy, Poland, Germany, Greece, Armenia, Switzerland, Malta, Portugal, Denmark, Sweden, France, San Marino, Albania.

Of course, as a UK citizen, I would like Remember Monday to win tonight with the UK's entry “What The Hell Just Happened?”, especially as it's now 28 years since the UK last won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1997. However, if the betting odds are anything to go by, the one country most likely to win tonight is Sweden, with KAJ - “Bara Bada Bastu”. Sweden is the current favourite to win, with a 40% chance of winning at the time of me writing this post. Austria is currently second in the odds to win, France is currently third in the odds to win, and the United Kingdom is currently twelfth in the betting odds to win. Still, bookies' odds aren't the be all and end all; anything could happen tonight.

Good luck to all 26 finalists in Basel tonight. May the best song win.

So at the jury voting they screen is like the given points to the left, the hosts in the middle and the spokesperson to the right. You don’t directly see the given points in the overall scoreboard. Just 1-10 without changes, then the spokesperson is announcing the 12 points, then a shot of the green room while you see the updated scoreboard.

It’s just a detail in the whole show but I think it’s not a good solution, I rather don’t like it, I’d like it to be in the more usual design… there’s no complete frame design for it, it’s kept very simple.

And there are small triangles, I guess they are indicating that a country jumped up some places in the ranking with the points given. It’s not really a big thing but I don’t really like that either.

I thinking is - if France wins the juries it won't be a landslide.
But if Austria won the juries, there would be a chance of a landslide. Which is why I think Austria will win the juries even if it is not a landslide

Wait so the same way as Junior Eurovision 2024? Please no that was horrible... [Edit: NVM I misread]

I am in Cyprus with a group of young people from Poland, Italy, Greece, Portugal and Hungary. Tonight we will have an Eurovision night. People are excited for my surprise, but greeks and portuguese are clearly the experts. Except Hungary, of course. Two of them which are 18 to 20 had no idea about Eurovision... pretty sad!!
Have a beautiful night, my dears!
