I love Artem Pyvovarov - why is he ineligible? Did he visit Crimea by kicking off his journey through the fascist empire of RuZZia?
He used to live there until 2018.
Moreover, he was working for openly Ukrophobic Russian label (but not for long). I assume, just like Prykhodko, he personally experienced the whole thing and came back to Ukraine.

2023 I think Ukraine should be able to any song they want! Ignoring Eurovision rules.
??? :( Ignoring Eurovision rules?? Sorry what do you even mean. Imaging every other country doing the same - ignoring Eurovision rules. Rules are there for reason. I think you weren't serious with your statement??

Depending on which day Vidbir is about to take place, this will be our first national final upcoming season!!!
Well, we already have Israeli representative. How do you know that it will come before Albanian fik, they both in same month. Also, there was this year Bulgaria who announced song surprisingly early even before Albania. So when you don't know the exact dates, you can't claim that. Besides, I'm not sure its advantage to announce song so early. just my opinion/facts.

I wrote "depending on the date". Usually, Albania takes place at the end of December.
If Ukraine hosts Vidbir mid-December or earlier, it Will probably be our first national final.

Bulgaria 2022 and Israel 2023 have been internally selected and thus, no national final took place to determine the entrant.

More unique than Go_A and Kalush?

I know right? Ukraine literary brought two of the most unique entries (for Eurovision standard at least) in the past two years. But the quote says "unique performer" whatever that means...

Verka? Sand lady? Hamster wheel? Female mugam with a blue & yellow tree? Vampire literally in piano? Pornhub session in a bath? The Matrix-like ethno (unreleased staging for Solovey)?
Can't wait, tbh. For now I hope it will be better than our usual hosting-year-floppage.
Ok, you got me.

Ukraine has definitely been enriching Eurovision since its debut.
Personally, I don´t think that they can really top "Solovey", "Shum", "1944" and "Stefania" in terms of "unique entries/sounds" but I guess we will have to wait and see...

maybe Ignea? :D

My personal taste is neither stefania nor Goa's song even though they did well in Eurovision. That's why they are not in my top 5 of Ukraine.

My top 5 of Ukraine would be definitely verka serduchka, Tina Karol show me your love, loboda and be my valentine, was shady lady also from Ukraine? and jamala 1944. Maybe Tina Karol or loboda would be cool to see again on ESC.

So In what month will be announced lineup artists for Ukraine selection. You all went crazy posting on this thread. I thought something concrete was happening and their artist was already announced. Only known so far there will be nat selection somewhere at the end of the year in December. :sleep:xwait

"Everyone went crazy in this thread" - This is a Eurovision forum and the current winner just announced that it will host a national final despite fighting a fascist regime invading its territories. We also got some information on the national final as well as some posts by interested artists (some of them are Eurovision/Vidbir-related).

This thread got an additional page due to a few posters commenting on these news. - Again, on a Eurovision forum.

Everyone got crazy with posting on this thread because organisers announced we will have to wait for 4 months, end of the year. Now is the August for the songs to be revealed. That's quite a long time. xwait:sleep: tbh. I'm pretty sure someone else will reveal their song before Ukraine. If you are gonna quote me, quote my full sentence and not just half of the sentence. Usually when thread is active, it indicates confirmed artist or song. You can write as much as you want, I don't care, it just bewunders me as what Germans would say or astonishes me. Lol

Late November is a great time to be back on this forum for just getting information on participants/entries - or even December.
Just saying.

Probably unrealistic, but I would love to see these guys in the NF. They deserve to be more known.

Of course I wasn’t serious! I’m not oblivious to Eurovision rules!!! Tayanna needs to go to Eurovision soon. I don’t believe I am the king of the world and I have the powers to make new laws.

LAUD will submit a song.

As well as SHUMEI.

Imho, SHUMEI will qualify for the final. This is basically the style of Pianoboy. His vocals even sound like Okean Elzy lead singer (Pianoboy is a former member of this band).
Same for Christina Soloviy who was being produced by Okean Elzy lead singer.
