Tonight, YLE, the Finnish national broadcaster held the Second Chance round in which 6 more acts were selected to compete in the UMK Final that will be aired on February 1st. The 6 finalists were selected by a mix of experts jurors and national televoting.
The 6 qualified Finnish acts:
1. Mikko Pohjola “Sängyn reunalla”
2. MIAU “God/Drug”
3. MadCraft “Shining Bright”
4. Hukka ja Mama “Selja”
5. Lauri Mikkola “Going Down”
6. Clarissa feat. Josh Standing “Top of the World”
The 6 selected acts will join Softengine and Hanna Sky who secured their spot in the final in UMK heat 1 and heat 2.
During the semi-final allocation draw on 20 January 2014, Finland was drawn to compete in the second half of the second semi-final on 8 May 2014. Finland will have to place in the top ten of the second semi-final in order to qualify to compete in the final on 10 May 2014.
