Immediately after the second semi-final concluded the production team for the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest met to determine the official running order for Saturday’s Grand Final.
How the running order is decided
Making the running order is a multi-faceted process, which all begins with a drawing after each semi-final concludes. First each country and automatic qualifier will draw one of three slips from a bowl: 1st Half, 2nd Half, or Producer’s Pick.
If a country selected “Producer’s Pick” then they could be placed anywhere in the running based on the needs of the production team, and what would make each performance have a “moment”. If they selected 1st Half then they will perform in spot 1 – 13 and 2nd Half will perform in spots 14-26.
