Bulgarian national broadcaster BNT has announced that they will be bringing the country back to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2014 and have already internally selected an artist!

It was announced during Friday’s “Slavi’s Show” that the country would be returning, and that 10 year old singer Krista Todorova will represent her country in Malta. Participation in the Junior contest has been funded by BTV, a new Bulgarian television station co-operating with the national broadcaster, as BTV is not yet a member of the EBU.

Bulgaria last participated in Junior Eurovision in 2011, and Eurovision in 2013. Ivan Ivanov finished 8th for Bulgaria in the 2011 JESC with “Superhero”.
