It started acting way too hip and ended in the weirdest trip. Hooverphonic from Belgium enter the rehearsal stage, and here is our report.

Hooverphonic attempt to stand out by keeping their staging simplistic, challenging the garish stagings we’ve seen before. Geike stands in the middle of the stage, surrounded by members of the band. The camera spins around as Geike, in a near-delirium, delivers her song to the viewer.
The staging may be simple, but Geike sells it very well with her face, delivering a liberal dose of crazy eyes. The vibe created by the dark and gothic video clip comes off quite well. On top of that, her vocal delivery is solid throughout.
However, such an entry remains a fairly tough sell, and if Belgium wish to up their chances, they really need to double down on the psychedelic vibe.
