Earlier this week, the Australian broadcaster responsible for the country’s participation in Eurovision, SBS, announced that over 700 submissions were received for their first ever national selection. While we already knew that the broadcaster’s selection committee has heard every song, it seems that the decision on which lucky artists are in contention has already been made!
Earlier today the official page for SBS Eurovision shared their first teaser trailer for the competition, including a glimpse at some of the artists set to take part. Can #YOU recognise any of the faces or acts featured? Check out the video below…
Some of the comments below the video seem to suggest that high profile Australian artists such as The Presets, Ricky-Lee, Marc Vincent and 5 Seconds of Summer may be involved, but of course this is just speculation. Could SBS surprise us however?
The video implies we don’t have long to wait to know for sure, with SBS set to announce the line-up very shortly.
