Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2015 which was organized by the Danish Broadcaster DR took place tonight. It was the 4th edition of the music competition and the country picked the song that would represent them in Vienna, Denmark.
The winning song was selected by a combination of the viewers’ SMS votes and votes cast by five regional juries. The public and the jury will each had a total of 290 points to award. Each jury group awarded points as follows: 1–8, 10 and 12 points. The public vote was based on the percentage of votes each song has achieved. For example, if a song gained 10% of the public vote, then that entry would be awarded 10% of 290 points rounded to the nearest integer.
In the end Anti Social Media won the contest with the song The Way You Are and will represent Denmark at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria. The allocation draw determined that Denmark will take part in the First Semi Final on May 19th.
