Junior Songfestival 2025
Through the months, the participants were decided, revealed and then released to the public, with snippets and eventually the full version of the songs.
Four participants were revealed during the summer, as well as their songs and these were the four finalists that made up the Dutch national selection: (Order of performance)
- Level Up – “Rule The World“
- Coco & Tove – “Strong Girl Summer“
- Iconic – “Don’t Touch“
- Meadow – “Freeze“
The way the winner would be decided, came down to 3 different voting groups. These included the kids jury, the professional jury and an online vote. Each voting group would award 8, 9, 10 & 12 points to each of the 4 participating acts, in order to decide the winner together. Hence giving each group 33% of the final results.
It would become quite clear during the voting, that one act would prove to be the worthy winner. Meadow was eventually declared the winner of the contest, after she scored top points from all 3 voting groups, hence winning with the maximum amount of points of 36. Thereby giving her the honor of representing The Netherlands at the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest, to be held in Tbilisi, Georgia.
