Suspline Broadcaster has launched online voting in the app ‘Diya’ that aims to allow Ukrainians to select 11th finalist for Ukraine’s Vidbir for Eurovision 2024. Selection will take place from December 15th to December 21st.
Everyone who is above the age of 14 is allowed to participate in the voting. In order to vote one needs to enter the app ‘Diya’ and in the tab ‘Services’ select ‘Voting’ where they may choose one of nine participants. The voting is restricted to one candidate and the choice cannot be changed.
For the 11th place, there are such participants:
– ANKA ‘Палала’
– Carpetman ‘Endless fight’
– KARYOTYPE ‘Sadness’
– KRYLATA ‘Queen’
– PARFENIUK ‘Серед вітрів’
– SHEPA ‘SUPERNOVA’
– STASYA ‘Rika’
– SWOIIA ‘Little Angels’
– TESLENKO ‘Lights go up’
If the participant with the highest number of votes will not be able to compete due to serious circumstances, the right to become a finalist will be given to the next participant. According to Head of Ukraine’s Delegation Oksana Skybinska, ‘public choice’ is one of the introductions for this year.
The full list of finalists will be announced till 29th of December. The final will take place on February 3rd 2024 and its winner will be chosen through jury and audience choice. Jury members will also be chosen through online voting process.
It is also worth noting that there are already 10 chosen finalists for ‘Vidbir 2024’ and they are Alyona Alyona & Jerry Heil, Drevo, INGRET, MELOVIN, NAHABA, NAZVA, SKYLERR, YAGODY, YAKTAK and Ziferblat.
