Regardless what happens, Spain and it’s national broadcaster (RTVE) will go ahead with the show, and therefor the broadcaster could reveal the participants for the upcoming edition of Benidorm Fest.
Benidorm Fest 2026 – Participants
Spain has recently released the list of participants that will take part in the upcoming edition of Benidorm Fest 2026, and it was announced that there will be 18 participants in total. This will be only the second time since the return of the festival in 2022, that it has featured this many participants. Last time it also had 18 participants was back in 2023.
It is also confirmed that the final will only consist of 8 finalists, which means 4 from each of the two semi-finals, which could indicate that the show format will also follow the format that was used in 2023, with 9 participants in each of the two semi-finals. Important to note, is that the acts have not yet been placed into any semi-finals, so that is still yet to be decided.
Without further ado, this is the list of participants for 2026: (alphabetical order)
- Asha
- Atyat
- Dani J
- Dora & Marlon Collins
- Kitai
- Funambulista
- Greg Taro
- Izan Llunas
- Kenneth
- Ku Minerva
- Luna Ki
- MarÃa León ft. Julia Medina
- Mayo
- Mikel Herzog Jr.
- Miranda! & Bailamamá
- Rosalinda Galán
- The Quinquis
- Tony Grox & Lucycalys
Among the participants, we do find one familiar name, but one who still will compete for the first time, since the contest was rebranded in 2022. Luna Ki was supposed to take part in 2022 with the song “Voy a Morir“, but eventually withdrew from the contest. Hopefully now, she’ll get her chance to participant, since last time, she withdrew due to personal reasons, as well as not being able to use autotune within the rules of the Eurovision Song Contest.
The winner of the 2026 edition will be decided by a professional jury, who’ll have 50% of the decision, meanwhile a demoscopic jury and the televote, will each have the remaining 25% of the total outcome.
