Estonian broadcaster (ERR) have been hard at work lately, at things are only just getting started, when it comes to the 2026 season. The names might be out, but we’re still waiting for the songs, so let’s see who we’re potentially dealing with, for 2026.
Eesti Laul 2026 – Participants
Over the past two nights, Estonian broadcaster has revealed who the participants will be, for the upcoming edition of Eesti Laul 2026. This was done during the Estonian evening show “Ringvaade“. Thursday night, the first half of participants were presented, while the second half of the field were then presented the following day.
With that, these are the 12 lucky artists, who now will prepare intensely ahead for the Estonian national final, which is set to be held in the 14th of February 2026: (alphabetical order)
- ANT x Minimal Wind – “Wounds (Don’t Wanna Fall)“
- Clicherik & Mäx – “Jolly Roger“
- Getter Jaani – “The Game“
- Grete Paia – “Taevas jäi üles“
- Laura Prits – “Warrior“
- Marta Pikani – “Kell kuus“
- NOËP – “Days Like This“
- Ollie – “Slave“
- Robert Linna – “Metsik roos“
- Stockholm Cowboys, Stig Rästa & Victor Crone – “Last Man Standing“
- Uliana Olhyna – “Rhythm of Nature“
- Vanilla Ninja – “Too Epic to Be True“
Despite only 12 participants will take part, which is a slight drop from the 16 from last year, then there is several names that do strike out. Among them are even a few past Eesti Laul, as well as Eurovision Song Contest representatives.
Getter Jaani represented Estonia at the contest in 2011, with the song “Rockereller Street“, Stig Rästa represented Estonia at the contest in 2015, with the song “Goodbye to Yesterday“, along with Elina Born, Victor Crone represented Estonia at the contest in 2019, with the song “Storm“, and lastly, Vanilla Ninja represented Switzerland at the contest in 2005, with the song “Cool Vibes“.
ANT, Minimal Wind, Grete Paia and Ollie are all also names that have tried their luck in the past at the national final, but are yet to experience the sensational moment of winning the competition.
Among the line-up, it has been revealed as well, that 7 of the songs will be performed in English, while 4 of them are in Estonian, and then the last song will be a mix of both Estonian and Ukrainian.
What awaits the artists now, is the preparation for their songs to be released along with music videos, which ERR has already announced will happen on the 4th of December 2025.
