Klemen won the 2025 edition of Evrovizijska Melodija (EMA) with “How Much Time Do We Have Left,” and will represent Slovenia at Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland.

Once all 12 of this year’s songs were performed, a jury scored them and ultimately chose a top two: July Jones with “New Religion” and Klemen. The two artists progressed to the ‘superfinal’, where a public vote had the sole say in deciding the winner of the contest.

Both finalists are familiar faces for EMA viewers. July Jones previously competed in 2022, finishing in fifth with the fan favorite entry “Girls Can Do Anything. She is also known for her work as a songwriter, and co-wrote “We Are Bulletproof” by BTS. Klemen — a well-known actor, TV host, comedian, and singer in Slovenia — hosted EMA 2020 and showcased his musical skills during an iconic interval performance where he recreated all 25 of the country’s Eurovision entries until that point.
