Are you ready for a real musical treat coming to us from Serbia? We sure are!
In the latest episode of the RTS podcast “Eurovision Stories,” Srdjan Mladenović from the Corporate Image and Public Relations Service of RTS and Nenad Pribak, the president of OGAE Serbia, spoke about the upcoming Pesma za Evroviziju festival and Serbia’s national final that will determine this country’s representatitive in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.
And we finally have a release date – January 25!
Mladenović mentioned that preparations for the festival are well underway, and all competing songs will be released on January 25th on the official YouTube channel “RTS Pesma Evrovizije” as well as all musical platforms! This is great news because you will be able to stream them immediately upon release!
Concurrently, the lineup of participants for the semi-finals will be disclosed at the same time. Both semi-finals will feature 14 contestants each, with the top 8 advancing to the finals.
There are, however, some additional changes coming to PZE. Namely, the number of points that the jury has will be equal to the number of points that the audience has, and the announcement approach will mirror that of the Eurovision Song Contest.
“This year, we will modify how we announce the votes in the final. So, this year, we will announce the votes following the Eurovision principle,” stated Srdjan Mladenović.
You can tune in to the “Eurovision Stories” podcast on YouTube, Spotify, and other streaming platforms.
