Dominik Arim will represent Poland at the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Madrid with the song “All Together.”
11-year-old Arim, from Pomerania, won the final of “Szansa na Sukces: Eurowizja Junior” on September 29.. Since 2019, the talent competition has served as the selection method for Poland’s Junior Eurovision contestant.
Arim beat out four other hopefuls, including runner up Aleksandra Antoniak. Antoniak and Arim placed first and second respectively in the final’s first half. Antoniak’s cover of Loreen’s “Euphoria” scored a combined 10 points from the jury and public, while Arim earned nine points with the 2010 Eurovision winner “Satellite” by Lena. In the second half of the program, Arim and Antoniak performed “All Together,” with Arim ultimately winning the public vote.
Special guests included former JESC winner Viki Gabor, and Krystian Ochman, who represented Poland in the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest with “River,” placing twelfth in the final.
Poland has won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest twice: Roksana Węgiel won the 2018 competition with “Anyone I Want to Be,” scoring 215 points, while Viki Gabor’s “Superhero” won the following year, earning 278 points – the country’s highest-scoring entry to date.
