This weekend the Dutch national selection Junior Songfestival 2024 concluded, and Stay Tuned won the right to represent their country at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest later this year.

Their entry is entitled “Music” and was written by Jermain van der Bogt and Willem Laseroms. Bogt competed on the 2013 season of The Voice of Holland and has written songs for the children’s choir Kinderen voor Kinderen. Laseroms has one previous writing credit for the Dutch JESC selection, having written Priscilla’s last placing 2021 entry “Be Alright”.

The result was decided by a three part voting process that gave 33% of the say to a children’s jury, a professional jury, and the public televote. Stay Tuned managed to win both the children’s jury and public televote and came second in the professional jury, securing enough points to win at the end.

Stay Tuned will compete alongside sixteen other countries on November 16th live from Caja Mágica in Madrid.
