Today, the third semifinal of Lithuania’s Eurovision selection, Eurovizija.LT was broadcast, previously recorded from the LRT studios in Vilnius. The program was hosted by Gabrielė Martirosian, Nombeko Augustė, and Rimvydas Černiauskas. This semifinal featured nine acts competing for only two spots for the final on 15 February. All acts were judged by a 50/50 jury and televote to determine the final placement.

The nine acts who took to the stage were as follows (click on the song title to watch the semifinal performance):

Thomas G – “Highest Goals
Queen of Roses – “Taip!
Gøya – “After Storm
Hansanova – “Leilydo
Meidė – “Gyvatės
Gebrasy – “Whole
Indrė and Laimonas – “Namo
Black Biceps – “Visaip man reik

The jury for tonight’s show was comprised of Vytautas Bikus, Ieva Narkutė, Kristupas Naraškevičius, Gerūta Griniūtė, and Leonas Somovas (A.K.A. Leon Somov). Previous Lithuanian national selection participant and runner-up, Rūta Mur also performed as an interval act with Leon Somov with the song “Saugok širdį”.

At the end of the night, the results showed Gebrasy in 1st with the jury, with Gøya and Black Biceps placing on the podium. The remaining acts finished in the following order from 4th to 9th: Queens of Roses, Indrė and Laimonas, Meidė, Hansanova, Amari, and Thomas G.

Black Biceps won the televote, earning top marks from the public with 2,868 votes. Gøya finished in 2nd place with 1,220 votes and Gebrasy in 3rd place with 742. The remaining acts finished in the following order from 4th to 9th: Queens of Roses (544 votes), Thomas G (540 votes), Amari (426 votes), Meidė (424 votes), Hansanova (304 votes), and Indrė and Laimonas (272 votes).

With the combined jury and televote scores, the results of tonight’s show were close. The jury preferences came into play to determine the finalists with Gebrasy and Gøya being the two qualifiers! They will proceed to the final in three weeks. The remaining acts finished in the following order from 3rd to 9th: Black Biceps, Queens of Roses, Meidė, Indrė and Laimonas, Amari, Thomas G, and Hansanova.

Next week, nine more semifinalists will perform for the first time and compete for spots in the final. The fourth semifinal will air on 1 February at 20:00 CET.
