🇮🇹 Italy: Sanremo Night Four Recap & Results

The fourth night of Sanremo 2025 – Covers Night – has come to a close. 

Rather than sing their entry songs, the 29 competing artists teamed up with some well-known duet partners to perform covers of older and more recent hits:

2. Modà with Francesco Renga – “Angelo” (Renga)
3. Clara with Il Volo – “The Sound of Silence” (Simon and Garfunkel)
4. Tony Effe and Noemi – “Tutto il resto è noia” (Franco Califano)
5. Francesca Michielin and Rkomi – “La nuova stella di Broadway” (Cesare Cremonini)
6. Lucio Corsi with Topo Gigio – “Nel blu dipinto di blu” (Domenico Modugno)
7. Serena Brancale with Alessandra Amoroso – “If I Ain’t Got You” (Alicia Keys)
8. Irama with Arisa – “Say Something” (Christina Aguilera)
9. Gaia with Toquinho – “La voglia, la pazzia” (Ornella Vanoni)
10. The Kolors with Sal Da Vinci – “Rossetto e caffè” (Sal Da Vinci)
11. Marcella Bella with Twin Violins – “L’emozione non ha voce” (Adriano Celentano)
12. Rocco Hunt with Clementino – “Yes, I Know My Way” (Pino Daniele)
13. Francesco Gabbani with Tricarico – “Io sono Francesco” (Tricarico)
14. Giorgia with Annalisa – “Skyfall” (Adele) 
15. Simone Cristicchi with Amara – “La cura” (Franco Battiato)
16. Sarah Toscano with Ofenbach – “Overdrive” (Ofenbach)
17. Coma_Cose with Johnson Righeira – “L’estate sta finendo” (Righeira)
18. Joan Thiele with Frah Quintale – “Che cosa c’è” (Gino Paoli)
19. Olly ft. Goran Bregovic and the Wedding & Funeral Band – “Il pescatore” (Fabrizio De André)
20. Achille Lauro and Elodie – “Tributo a Roma: ‘A mano a mano’ (Rino Gaetano) and ‘Folle città’” (Loredana Bertè)
21. Massimo Ranieri with Neri per caso – “Quando” (Pino Daniele)
22. Willie Peyote with Federico Zampaglione and Ditonellapiaga – “Un tempo piccolo” (Franco Califano)
23. Brunori Sas with Dimartino and Riccardo Sinigallia – “L’anno che verrà” (Lucio Dalla)
24. Fedez with Marco Masini – “Bella stronza” (Masini)
25. Bresh with Cristiano De André – “Crêuza de mä” (Fabrizio De André)
26. Shablo, Guè, Joshua and Tormento with Neffa – “Amor de mi vida” (Sottotono) and “Aspettando il sole” (Neffa)

Based on the juries and televote, Giorgia and Annalisa won the night with their cover of Adele’s “Skyfall.” Rounding out the top 10 performances of the night were:

8. Achille Lauro and Elodie – “Tributo a Roma: ‘A mano a mano’ and ‘Folle città.’” 
9. Clara with Il Volo – “The Sound of Silence” 
10. The Kolors with Sal Da Vinci – “Rossetto e caffè”

Two-time Sanremo winner and Eurovision alum Mahmood and comedian Geppi Cucciari joined Carlo Conti (the official host of Sanremo 2025) as guest hosts. Mahmood, who also performed during the evening, was the runner-up at Eurovision 2019 with the song “Soldi.” He returned to the contest in 2022, teaming up with singer and rapper Blanco for the ballad “Brividi,” ultimately placing sixth in the Grand Final. 

Guests included actor and filmmaker Roberto Benigni, as well as singers Benji and Fede who performed “Dove e quando,” and Paolo Kessisoglu, who performed “Paura di me” with his daughter Lunita.

This year’s Covers Night presents a departure from previous editions of Festival di Sanremo in that the night’s results do not factor into the overall results of the contest. 

The fifth and final night of Sanremo 2025 will take place Saturday, February 15 at 20:40 CET. The winner will have first right of refusal to represent Italy at Eurovision 2025.
