France has announced that fourteen year-old singer Titouan will serve as their representative for Junior Eurovision 2024 with the song “Comme Ci Comme Ça”.

Titouan comes with previous experience with large television productions, having appeared on The Voice Kids in 2022 and the show Dream Team. According to the official press release, when he’s not singing Titouan is passionate about cinema, cooking, manga, and spending time with loved ones.

The song “Comme Ci Comme Ça” was written by MALO who competed in the French national selection Destination Eurovision back in 2018, and pop singer-songwriter Marie Bastide. The song’s lyrics tell a story about tolerance and love, and how differences can also be strengths. Speaking about the song Titouan said:

“I’m happy that this song shows that we are rich in our diversity, no matter where we go or what we think. I hope that each time we listen to it, it will make each of us more tolerant, more caring and more respectful.”

France will compete for the eight time in Junior Eurovision later this year in Madrid alongside 16 other countries. The country has won the contest three times in it’s short participation history, taking the trophy in 2020, 2022, and 2023.
