The Danish representative for Eurovision 2024 will be decided this coming Saturday through the traditional national selection Dansk Melodi Grand Prix.
Just three weeks ago broadcaster DR revealed the eight artists who were selected to compete in DMGP, with the list including Eurovision 2014 artist Basim. The slate of songs are of great interest, as all eight entries are fully in English and break a longstanding tradition of having some representation of the Danish language in the final.
Now that you’ve had some time to check out the entries and with DMGP just days away, it’s time for us to ask YOU: Who should win the selection and earn Denmark’s ticket to Eurovision this year? Cast your vote below:
The winner of DMGP will be selected through two rounds of voting, the first being a 50/50 split of televoting and jury voting (with the jury being comprised of Danish music experts and two representatives from Sweden, Ukraine, Italy, Netherlands, and Israel). The top three entries will then move to the superfinal and second round of voting, where another 50/50 vote will select the overall winner.
