We are getting closer and closer to the 2025 contest in Basel, Switzerland. Today, we saw another huge step towards the contest, with the running order for the semi-finals now being known.
The Running order of the 2025 Semi-finals
No big changes have been made since last year, 2025 will continue with the new idea of having the finalists performing among the semi-finalists. This concept was first presented last year, in order to give pre-qualified countries an equal chance of success as any other country from the semi-finals, by allowing viewers to get to know the finalists as well ahead of time.
Back in January, the participants of both semi-finals were decided and which half each country would perform in. Now we finally have the full list, which you can watch below.
Semi-final 1 – May 13th
Opening the contest and the first semi-final will be done by VรB from Iceland, while closing the semi-final will be done by Theo Evan from Cyprus, starting with one island and finishing with another.
