It’s been over a week since the Eurovision 2022 finale, and we’re still left in the dark about Norway’s intergalactic wolves’ true identity. However, Sam Ryder may have dropped the next hint about the potential identity of one of the wolves. And it’s not Ylvis!

During a Magic Breakfast interview with Ronan Keating and Harriet Scott, Sam Ryder claims to have seen former A1 singer Ben Adams getting a croissant in Turin. When he was then later talking to one of the wolves from Subwoolfer, Sam Ryder realized “I know you’re Ben, but I do not want to tell you I know”.

Ben Adams got his claim to fame with A1, a Norwegian-British boy band first active during the late nineties and early noughties. A1 almost even made it to Eurovision when they competed in Melodi Grand Prix in 2010 but lost out on representing Norway to Didrik Solli-Tangen in the Gold Final.

This clue becomes more complex during the Syttende Mai celebrations. Norway celebrated their national holiday on May 17 (Syttende Mai) and Ben Adams took the opportunity to post a possible cheeky reference to his Instagram. In the second picture, we get to see Ben’s kid holding, you guessed it, a banana.

Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet reached out to Ben Adams to follow up on this cheeky hint, but all Ben replied was “she just likes bananas”.

Who do #YOU think is in the Subwoolfer suits?  Let us know your guesses in the comments, on our forum HERE or on social media!
