The fourth semi-final from the popular Swedish national selection Melodifestivalen will continue this Saturday. Ahead of the competition, SVT has released some details about the entries which will participate next Saturday, which #YOU can find below!

- Emmi Christensson – Icarus
This is Emmi’s first time in this competition. LED lights and heavy smoke are expected to be on stage. According to Christer Björkman, she has a super voice which is really hot, while Emmi herself thinks that the song will stand out from the pack.

2. Elias Abbas – Mitt paradis
Elias is also debuting in this competition. Kenny Lantz, Keisha von Arnold, Lamin Holmén and Lovisa Bengtsson are the dancers while Simon Samaeng & Maria Begallo are the backing vocalists. Pink, turquoise, purple and red should feature in the backdrop of the stage. Christer Björkman says that this entry is a nice song full of joy as it is fresh and young with a “feel good” vibe. Elias Abbas states that his song is about his own paradise, where he wants to invite his loved ones and all viewers

3. Felicia Olsson – “Break That Chain”
This is the second time that Felicia Olsson will participate in Melodifestivalen, as she appeared in 2013, when she was eliminated during the semi-finals. The stage will be filled with smoke in front of a green, red and gold backdrop. Christer Björkman describes this entry as being quite traditional, given its schlager pop routes. Felicia says that the song is a very strong song about relationships

Joining Rolandz on stage, there will be Ludvig Olin (Guitar), Niclas Arn (Bass), Peter Tiverman (Guitar), Robert Olsson (Drums) and Anna-Lena Björklund and Johanna Abenius as backing vocalists. Rolandz says that the song is an expression of euphoria, joy and rhythm.

5.Olivia Eliasson – “Never Learn”
Olivia is another debutante for this edition, however we can be sure that she will be inspired by former contestant Wiktoria as they both work with the same company. Jesper Eriksson, Michael Nunez, Clive Rudd and Evgueni Potechkin will dance on stage with Olivia. A blue backdrop is expected on stage. According to Christer Björkman, this is a modern radio-friendly pop moving at a decent pace, while Olivia Eliasson says that it’s a pop and tropical house style song.

Felix was part of FO&O who participated in last year’s competition. On stage, we should expect a cool backdrop. According to Christer Björkman, it’s a great ballad. Felix says that his song has a personal touch as well as an international theme, as it was written in LA and recorded there by a bunch of really talented young American guys who share his outlook on life.

The 2009 winner of Idol is back on the Melodifestivalen stage for the 3rd time. Heavy smoke is expected on stage. Christer Björkman comments that there is a similarity with what Mariette did last year. The song is very modern pop. A good song, simply. Mariette says that her choreographer Zain Odelstål has an absolutely magical visual idea in mind. It’s so innovative, he’s gonna top what she have done before!
