Tonight in Italy was the Final of Sanremo Giovani! The competition brought together young and emerging artists from around the country to compete for six places at the big Sanremo Music Festival in February.

Chosen through a combination of direct auditions with the broadcaster and a parallel selection called Area Sanremo, these were the twelve artists and songs that competed tonight:

Of these 12 acts, six artists impressed the professional jury and advanced to compete at Sanremo in February:

  • gIANMARIA
  • Colla Zio
  • Sethu
  • Will
  • OLLY

These six will compete with different songs in the big festival – those songs, and the song titles of the other 22 Big Artists’ entries, have now also been revealed by the broadcaster:

  • Anna Oxa – Sali (canto dell’anima)
  • Ariete – Mare di guai
  • Articolo 31 – Un bel viaggio
  • Colapesce Dimartino – Splash
  • Coma_Cose – L’addio
  • Elodie – Due
  • Gianluca Grignani – Quando ti manca il fiato
  • Giorgia – Parole dette male
  • I Cugni di Campagna – Lettera 22 
  • Lazza – Cenere
  •  LDA – Se poi domani
  •  Leo Gassmann – Terzo cuore
  •  Levante – Vivo
  •  Madame – Il bene nel male 
  • Mara Sattei – Duemilaminuti 
  • Marco Mengoni – Due vite 
  • Modà – Lasciami 
  • Mr. Rain – Supereroi 
  • Paola e Chiara – Furore 
  • Rosa Chemical – Made in Italy 
  • Tananai – Tango 
  • Ultimo – Alba

Now that the Sanremo lineup is complete, we will see these songs performed for the first time during the first two nights of the festival, February 7 and 8. On the fifth night, February 11, all of the competing songs will be performed again, and a winner will be announced.
