2 days ago, Raylee won the first semi-final of the Norwegian national final Melodi Grand Prix, but that was only just the start and already now NRK is continuing the hype, by releasing the next 4 song that are set to participate in the second semi-final this upcoming Saturday.

Semi-final 2

We started in the south, now we’re going East… well, artist-wise that is. The first semi-final took place on the 11th of January with 4 songs from the Southern region of Norway. Only one song remained victorious and that song qualified to the grand final. The format will be the same for the remaining three semi-finals. All semi-finals are held in the H3 Arena in Fornebu.

These 4 Eastern artists will compete in the second semi-final:

  • JÆGER – “How About Mars
  • Kim Wigaard & Maria Mohn – “Fool For Love
  • Rein Alexander – “One Last Time
  • Tore Petterson – “The Start of Something New

All 4 songs from Eastern Norway has also been released, you can listen to the songs here under the Øst-Norge section.

This semi-final will also present another pre-qualified finalist, Didrik & Emil are set to perform their song “Out of Air” on the night of the semi-final, which takes place on the 18th of January. If you don’t have the patience, then fear not, cause the pre-qualified song of this semi-final will be released on the 17th of January.

  • Ulrikke Brandstorp – “Attention” (Pre-qualified)
