The composer of North Macedonia’s Eurovision 2005 entry (then as FYR Macedonia) “Make My Day”, Dragan Vučić, has sadly passed away as a result of COVID-19.

The television presenter and musician made a name for himself in his native North Macedonia as the lead singer of the pop-folk group Koda, before going on to present various TV shows on Kanal 5 and compose pop hits, including “Svirete Ja Zajdi Zajdi”, “Angeli Me Nosat” and “Kazi Zvezdo”.

Dragan is best known to Eurovision fans as the composer of the then-F.Y.R. Macedonia entry for Eurovision 2005 – “Make My Day” – performed by his son Martin, which finished 17th in that year’s Eurovision final.

Our thoughts are with Martin and Dragan’s family and friends at this sad time.
