Czech broadcaster Česká Televize has confirmed the rumor that they will be represented in Kiev by jazz vocalist Martina Bárta through a post by the Eurovision Song Contest’s Facebook page. Though relatively unknown in mainstream musical circles, Bárta has no small number of credits to her name in jazz music, including in her current hometown, Berlin.
