Latvia becomes the 23rd country to decide their Eurovision 2016 entry with a victory for Justs in tonight’s Supernova final.
The competition’s latter stage was contested between the four surviving performers of Catalepsia, Justs, Marta Ritova and MyRadiantU. Following all of the performances a combination of online voting and televoting saw the public alone pick the winner of this year’s edition of the Latvian selection.
Justs will now go on to represent Latvia at the contest in May, with hopes to match Aminata’s success in 2015.
Aminata herself was one of the interval acts in tonight’s final show, alongside jury member and 2009 Latvian participant Intars Busulis and electronic project Bandmaster.
