The six young singers who will represent Ukraine at the Junior Eurovision 2024 have been announced.
After an intense selection process, a jury of esteemed music professionals has chosen the six finalists who will compete to represent Ukraine at the 22nd Junior Eurovision Song Contest. This prestigious event will take place this November in Madrid, Spain.
A total of ten talented singers advanced to the final round of “Star School,” where they competed for the coveted opportunity to represent their country on the international stage. The jury comprised of TAYANNA, Michelle Andrade, Yevhen Khmara, Yevhen Triplov, Yevhen Kot, and Svitlana Tarabarova carefully evaluated each performance before selecting the six finalists.
The six finalists chosen to compete in the national final are:
- Anastasiia Bielibova (13 years old)
- Anhelina Hlohus (12 years old)
- Veronika Kohan (11 years old)
- Illia Konovchenko (ILKO) (12 years old)
- Artem Kotenko (12 years old)
- Zlata Ivaniv (10 years old)
While these six singers will move forward, four talented artists did not make it to the final round:
- Mariya Blyznyuk (9 years old)
- Anna Doyna (14 years old)
- Sofiya Nersesyan (8 years old)
- Vsevolod Skryma (12 years old)
The Ukrainian selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Madrid will conclude on September 22. The event will be hosted by Anna Trincher, Anna Tulyeva, and Timur Miroshnychenko. The final will be held online, utilizing a combination of a three-member jury and public voting to select the Ukrainian representative for Madrid.
