Italy: RAI reveals remaining Festival di Sanremo participants(Eurovision 2019)

The Italian broadcaster RAI previously revealed 12 acts that are set to take part in Festival di Sanremo 2019. Today, the second half of acts has been revealed which means we now have the names of all participants.

The Sanremo festival is the most popular song contest in Italy and the winner of the festival is given the option to represent Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest. However, the act has the option to refuse the offer as this is an optional offer. The last time the winning act decided to not accept the offer was in 2016, when the band Stadio decided that Eurovision wasn’t the right thing for them.

Here is the list of the 11 acts that were revealed today:

Federica Carta e Shade – Senza farlo apposta
Patty Pravo e Briga – Un po’ come la vita
Negrita – I ragazzi stanno bene
Daniele Silvestri – Argento vivo
Ex Otago – Solo una canzone
Achille Lauro – Rolls Royce
Arisa – Mi sento bene
Francesco Renga – Aspetto che torni
Boomdabash – Per un milione
Enrico Nigiotti – Nonno Hollywood
Nino D’Angelo e Livio Cori – Un’altra luce

Several names stand out here with Arisa receiving a special mention. She won Sanremo in 2014 and is giving the contest another shot.
