Irish singer-songwriter Samantha Mumba with her song My Way and Norwegian singer-songwriter EMMY with her song Laika Party will be joining the competition at The Late Late Eurosong Special on the 7th of February for a chance to represent Ireland at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest.
- Samantha Mumba, singer and actress, rose to international fame at the age of 17 with her debut single, Gotta Tell You, released in 2000.
The song became a worldwide sensation, reaching the top five in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the United States, where it climbed to No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100.
She was recently seen on screen in Harry Wild portraying Paula Kenny and is also a voice cast member in Queen Latifah’s Audible series Technically Speaking. - EMMY, a 24-year-old Norwegian singer, started creating her own songs at the age of seven.
Her career took off in 2015 when, at just 15 years old, she competed in Melodi Grand Prix Junior, one of the largest children’s music competitions in Norway.
Six years later, in 2021, she took part in Melodi Grand Prix, Norway’s national selection of a song for the Eurovision Song Contest.
Today, EMMY is widely recognized for her singing on TikTok, where she has amassed 1.2 million followers from across the globe. She has also collaborated with prominent music producers, including K-391 and Braaheim.
