RTÉ, the Irish national broadcaster, reconfirmed Lesley Roy as countries representative for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest and last week it was revealed that she will sing Maps in Rotterdam this May.

This morning during the morning radio show the song was premiered and now it is available on all streaming platforms and on YouTube.

Lesley wrote her song in collaboration with Lukas Hällgren, who also worked on Luca Hänni’s  She Got Me, and Emilie Eriksson, a Stockholm-based songwriter at Baggpipe Studios.

The video for Maps was directed by Ais Brady and shot against the stunning backdrop of Páirc Náisiúnta Sléibhte Chill Mhantáin (the Wicklow Mountains National Park) near Dublin.

Lesley stated that she is thrilled to see through this project and represent Ireland at Eurovision 2021 with Maps as she is so passionate about it and Eurovision.
