With a little over a week to go until Unser Lied für Liverpool, ARD have released additional details on what to expect on March 3.

The biggest piece of news was that the main interval act will be country band The Boss Hoss and Eurovision alum Ilse DeLange, performing their new single “You” during the voting interval. Not only has she competed in Eurovision herself as half of The Common Linnets in 2014, DeLange was also an early mentor to Eurovision winner Duncan Laurence, and is said to be the one who submitted “Arcade” for consideration in 2019.

Host Barbara Schöneberger will have a chat segment with DeLange at a different point in the show, and other guests on her couch will be past Unser Lied jury-member Florian Silbereisen, German influencer and superfan Riccardo Simonetti, and of course last year’s German entry Malik Harris!

Online voting will begin this Friday at 6am and will end just before the broascast starts. During the show, viewers will have the option to call or text their vote, and these votes plus the online votes will make up 50% of the final result. The other 50% will come from the votes of eight international juries from Switzerland, the Netherlands, Finland, Spain, Lithuania, Ukraine, Austria and the UK.

While you wait for the online voting to start, you can listen to the nine competing entries here:
