Some people hate Facebook. But the majority of us, even if we hate Facebook, are on there and using it as an outlet to indulge our obsession with, love for, and fascination of all things Eurovision.

The newest Eurovision craze on Facebook is posting the songs that “stay with you, no matter what” and the songs that annoy you.

A few days ago, my friend Assaf challenged me to post my 10 “stay with you” songs. Then a few days later, my friend Aija challenged to list my 5 annoying songs.

We at ESC United decided to share our Top 5 songs that “stay with us” and that annoy us. See below for each person’s choices. And then feel free to share yours in the comments or at our ever-popular forum. Please note that I took “stay with me” songs in a completely different way than everyone else. I took it as the songs that I keep singing as a joke. I may find many of them as ridiculous or bad, but it sure is fun to sing along to them!

ZACK
“Stay with you” songs
1) Krassimir Avramov – Illusion (Bulgaria 2009) – When I used to mow my then boyfriend’s two-acre lawn, I used to sing this at the top of my lungs. He still refers to it as the “Gimme Gimme Your Time” song.
2) Cezar – It’s My Life (Romania 2013) – Great memories of biking through the streets of Malmo after the shows singing this through the neighborhood at the top of my lungs
3) Joy Fleming – Ein Lied kann eine Brücke sein (Germany 1975) – The performance is always a joy to watch and never gets old.
4) Pastora Soler – Quedate Conmigo (Spain 2012) – Okay, the previews they kept showing in the semi-finals of ESC 2012 did not do much for me, but I actually like this song a lot now. And when she hit that note in Baku at the finals, I finally stopped and took notice.
5) Minouche Barelli – Boum-badaboum (Monaco 1967) – The most badass hairflip in Eurovision history!

“Annoy you” songs
1) Glen Vella – One Life (Malta 2011) – Just did nothing for me, and I found his stage presence to be annoying, although he seemed like a nice guy when he went to Malmo two years later.
2) Rambo Amadeus – Euro Neuro (Montenegro 2012) – Having a strong political statement means nothing when you act ambivalent about being at Eurovision. I heard he was a major pain to interview. At least Silvia Night had some fun with it.
3) Copycat – Copycat (Belgium 2009) – Never good news when you’re act and song name are the same, unless you’re a dance tune. This is not a dance tune.
4) D’Nash – I Love You Mi Vida (Spain 2007) – People were swept up with the Thomas G:Son “Eurovision Hit Factory” but I wasn’t. I don’t know. I just never liked this song.
5) Dustin the Turkey – Ireland Douze Pointe (Ireland 2008) – Sheer nonsense. I’ll listen to Jemini “Cry Baby” 100 times over listening to this once.

Here’s what the other ESC United folks thought.
