Slovenia has become the third debutee in this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest after confirmation from the contest’s executive supervisor, Vladislav Yakovlev, on Twitter.

Despite continued silence over the country’s participation in Eurovision 2015 and following a lengthy decision-making process for participation in the Copenhagen contest back in May, Slovenia will become the second Balkan country to debut in this year’s Junior contest and brings the total number of participants to 15, the highest for any JESC since the 2008 contest in Limassol, Cyprus.

There has not yet been any indication from the broadcaster about how the entry will be selected, but with 3 months left until the contest, Slovenia may need to hurry!
