We’ve been waiting all day, but it seems that San Marino are in.
SMRTV have confirmed that they will be in Vienna, and will be trying to match the result set by “Sammarinese Queen” Valentina Monetta who made it through to the Grand Final, after her third attempt. They debuted in 2008 before pulling out in 2010, but made the comeback with their neighbours in 2011, Italy. San Marino had to wait until 2014 to qualify finally, with song “Maybe”.
The selection process is still to be revealed, and I for one am still hoping that Valentina is going to break a Eurovision record and make it a fourth time, but the most important thing is that they apparently found finance through a sponsor who is going to pay for their participation in Eurovision 2015.
