Last week, SVT announced the dates for the next Melodifestivalen which is scheduled for February and March 2017. SVT decided to keep the same format as 2016, with four semi-finals that are once again sure to get the Eurovision world talking.
However, while SVT plans ahead, most of the past participants where busy releasing their tracks during the last summer months. Here we take a look at a couple;
Dolly Style released Unicorns and Ice-cream. The trio from Dollyville decided to take us a trip around Neverland with a suitably technicolour video.
Mariette is back with “Can’t kill my vibe” . This single its written by Mariette herself, along with Melanie Wehbe, Cassandra Ströberg, Alexandra Theander and Pontus Persson
Linus Svenning now known as Linus S released the track “They told me”. It was written by Linus himself, along with Marcus Bergman and Jonas Persson, and produced by Martin René Falkebo.
The runner-up from this year’s competition, Oscar Zia, released “I want you” in July. This song is about when someone is at a party and meets a person whom he decides he desperately wants. You can check out the hit single on the link below.
