Our first hosting ABBA icon is Björn Ulvaeus! Born as the Second World War came to a close, he found considerable success in the 1960s as a member of the Hootenanny Singers before becoming a part of ABBA. Later, he wrote multiple musicals and helped get "Mamma Mia" off the ground and into movie stardom! Tonight he hosts the first semi final with the incomparable Lynda Woodruff!
Little is known about Lynda Woodruff's early life. Rumours have it that she was brought up in the lap of luxury in London's West End by a family of exiled Swedish nobles, whereas some accounts place her origins as being in the depths of Stockholm's Cockney Quarter by Dick van Dyke's cousins. Whatever the case, she certainly learnt a lot from her family and/or her surroundings as she has a strong affection for both her strong London accent and Sweden.
