What do you think of "Ale jestem" (Poland 1997)?

Hello everyone,

in 1997, Anna Maria Jopek represented at the ESC in Dublin with the song "Ale jestem" and reached 11th place. What do you think about this entry??

For me this is the second best Polish entry ever, only behind "To nie ja!" from 1994. A very interesting title with ethnic elements, spreading a happy atmosphere without sounding flat and performed with so much joy and devotion.

For me a result among the first ten would have been deserved, but since 1997 was quite a strong year I can also live with its final placement.

1997 is the best year in history of Eurovision! Nearly every entry was amazing and this was no expectation!

Should have won, tbh.

I think it's one of the best Polish entries in Eurovsion - maybe even the best one.

Btw, did she release/or even record a studio version of that song?
