:de: 2010 Lena Meyer-Landrut "Satellite"
:se: 2012 Loreen "Euphoria"

Satellite would have been great if it was sung by someone else. Lena can't seem to hit the higher notes. If there was just more energy in this song, it would be better. And Euphoria is catchy but compared to some of the other songs in 2012, Euphoria seems to fall flat. The song just isn't that memorable to me.

I like Lena's personality, but I don't like her voice and song. 2010 was too strong year, to have winner like that. Azerbaijan (Safura's voice wasn't very well but song yes), Georgia, Turkey, Armenia, Croatia or maybe even Ireland, also could do it when.
I don't think that Euphoria is horrible song, but mediocre. Like in 2010, we had better candidates to Grand Prix. Slovenia, Macedonia, Azerbaijan or maybe even Spain.

I'll just grab three from recent history, in order from bad to teeth-grittingly terrible:

In 3rd place, :ru: 2008. (Ukraine? Azerbaijan? Israel? Many others?!)
In 2nd place, :az: 2011. (Italy?)
First place is hereby given to :gr: 2005. (Malta?)

Each of these is, to me, a completely empty shell without any content that would give me positive vibes whatsoever. All of them are found close to the bottom on my per-year rankings, and I just can't wrap my head around basically any points for these. xshrug

I don't like most of the winners

But if I had to choose a horror top 3, then it would be:

Spain 1968
France 1977
Serbia 2007

Why are people commenting on my horror top saying they're their favorites? xrofl2
Almost everyone here mentioned Azerbaijan 2011 in their horror top and I don't complain (it's one of the best winners, IMO).
