I think it's down to diaspora. I didn't think it was a good song and the staging was very messy. If Latvia sent it, it would have flopped.I still don´t get the success of this song.

Diaspora voter here reporting to dutyI think it's down to diaspora. I didn't think it was a good song and the staging was very messy. If Latvia sent it, it would have flopped.
Hopefully when our borders are open, I'll be able to visit Portugal. It's #1 on my list followed by Netherlands to visit. Love your countryOf course we were the #1.
Ziferblat are great and the song is my cup of tea. And they had considerable coverage from our media since at some point, they looked like (nice) stalkers to Napa. They literally sang three portuguese entries, made a lot of videos and media with our band. It was beautiful to see that friendship. Guess they will come soon to Portugal...
Slava Ukraini!![]()
Ukraine always benefitted from televoting because of various factors, including geopolitics. The only entries that got low score from public in the last 15 years were 2012 and 2017. I think right now we are almost at pre-war numbers. It seems that the "solidarity vote" is declining though, thirteen countries blanking it in the televote is a sign I guess.
I suspect that there's still a big diaspora vote coming through and the wider 'solidarity' vote has decreased significantly. The entry from Ukraine is almost always good quality anyway.Hopefully when our borders are open, I'll be able to visit Portugal. It's #1 on my list followed by Netherlands to visit. Love your country
