Let's be real. They did not have the best performance. And they did not win because of the performance.
Their performance was miles ahead of Jerry and Krut. It was almost Eurovision ready even though it was on a subway station

OGAE Ukraine organized a charity webstream in order to help homeless pets and invited many people associated with Vidbir.

Khayat said this Vidbir is the most technically challenging for his team: "This time our graphics is fully in 3D and we will use all possibilities of the venue."

FIЇNKA said there will be no revamp if she wins. German Nenov (see below) is in charge of her staging.

German Nenov (Creative Director of ESC 2023 and Vidbir 2025). The stage is bigger than last year. 4 Vidbir participants have their own art directors. Vidbir semis will come back after the war ends.

Kate from Go_A (she's a Vidbir '25 juror): "I'm waiting for the live performances. If I sense that these people can fill the whole Eurovision arena with their energy, I will vote for them."

At least 4 dancers for Khayat.

Masha Kondratenko trained at the circus studio with aerial gymnasts. All the videos show her on the ground tho. 3 dancers + 2 backing vocalists? As I've said, it will be a challenging choreo. Her odds have shortened a lot and she's only 0.3 away from Ziferblat xpopcorn

Is there any Abiye news from socials?
She said she will have a gorgeous dress. It seems the main focus will be on her.
Her eye is ok (her cat scratched it), she had a laser surgery and almost recovered.

EDIT: She's just posted in her Insta how she rehearsed a choreo.

The stage in action:

Vidbir 2025 costs even less than last year, when it was held underneath a statue
The stage has 2 levels vertically. It was intentionally made similar to the stage in Basel.
There will be ESC-like green room for 10 delegations (beside the jury) and the parade of participants at the beginning of the show.
The stage will have 360° effect, meaning cameras can shoot from any angle.
Fan zone is back!

4 backing vocalists for MOLODI? (it's not their backing vocalists in the video tho)

https://www.tiktok.com/video/7467634655169187077 He's got a great voice, not sure if "hiding" behind the backing vocalists is a good idea.

Khrystyna Starykova was confirmed as a backing vocalist for Ziferblat. She's most def gonna sing female vocalise at the beginning and the end. They were impressed by her vocals (she's got outstanding vocal range) and decided to add her to the team. "If we win, we want her to experience a taste of Eurovision (so it will benefit her when she submits her song in the future)."

^ Khayat was visibly ill that day (tonsillitis, high temperature etc.). He's just posted an Insta story saying that he learned how to do an injection to himself. Same here, due to shortage and busyness of medical workers I had to learn how to do this on practice :)

The rehearsals in the venue started yesterday.

^ Surprisingly good vocals :love::)

Alyosha - To Be Free flashbacks (but "Sil" is more uptempo with less belting), she also performed last :devilish: Definitely contender for the 3rd place along with MOLODI and FIЇNKA.

I’ve come to terms with Khayat being a no hoper but I have my fingers crossed for Molodi to spring a surprise victory!
Their song would be so different and unexpected for Ukraine (which would be a good thing)

I could see that happening quite easily actually considering what it's about.

Actually I think Masha Kondratenko has higher chances to win Vidbir, although I'd prefer Ziferblat or even Molodi. But if she wins we are safely in Top-10 too

I don't feel anything towards Khayat except admiration of his renewed style, his 2020 song was way more interesting.

@Mrm sorry for late response, i'm from Luhansk oblast, Rubizhne city

The bookies after the first rehearsals on the main stage:

1.85 - Ziferblat
2.75 - Masha Kondratenko
8.50 - FIЇNKA
9.00 - MOLODI
10.00 - KHAYAT

Combined streaming numbers are equal for Ziferblat and Masha. MOLODI are trending sliiightly better.

I agree with the bookies. It's between the first two. FIЇNKA and MOLODI can theoretically snatch the crown.
FIЇNKA is supported by showbiz very much + she's got ENKO behind her back this time and fanatic West Ukrainian vote (there will be no YAGODY in the final ;)). Shaky backing vocals ruin her live for me. Tziferblat can have ethno backing vocalists and they will sound more convincing and look way more stylish.
MOLODI are feeding the youth & socials very well. The running order did them dirty. The subject of the song deserves a better music. Not mediocre boring Americanized sound.
DK Enerhetyk can have a shot at #3, they are very underestimated by Eurobubble. Yet they represent what's popular on the front line. Performing last is tricky. It will emphasise a good/moody (Alyosha) or a messy (NAHABA) performance. Performing close to Tziferblat will benefit both bands, because they are opposite of each other.

Everything will depend of live performances.
Almost all contenders are performance-based entries.
