Trouble with Mentions

It has been brought to my attention that some of my mentions are not getting through. I've been advised to try to keep code minimal and to click on suggested names instead of typing them out myself. Hopefully, this will resolve my issues going forward, but in case it doesn't, perhaps this is something to look into

Yeah it has been going on for a year now, mentions are on and off. At some point only the mods could summon people with their mentions but even them don't work sometimes. It's kinda the lottery
