MIRUD totally slayed me last month. He basically become one of my most scrobbled artist that month within very few days.
Taylor Swift's new album "evermore" which I got for Christmas as a present is absolutely fascinating. She's such a gifted story teller. She has never been one of my favourite artists but her new albums are incredible!
John Williams did compose the score for the first three Harry Potter movies - when I grew tired of listening to X-mas songs, I chose the Potter tracks to remain a "Christmas-sy" feeling

Thought it was a bit in embarrassing how I only had two non USA flags in my top 10 (blame WorldVision) so I extended my yearly top to fifteen songs. This has been by far my least eventful year though since I've been keeping track of the music I listen to with Lastfm. Sadistik topped my list for the third year in a row but I only listened to his songs 377 times, when by comparison in 2019 I listened to him 2004 times.

This has been such a long year - even musically speaking. Usually the Eurovision artists of the year would have a much bigger presence in my top 50, but this year I've basically dropped them all dead after March, really lost all my ESC mood back then. Some of the stuff I listened in January-March feels like centuries ago, I still cannot believe it was the same year. Overall, not a very eventful year in musical discoveries, but still got some gems. and yes that's a lot of american flags

It's always hard for me to do a top as I listen to music on YT exclusively. Add to that the fact I rarely listen to the whole discography of an artist, I usually just play 1 or 2 of their songs on repeat for a few weeks. It's even harder this year as I spent long hours scouting for OM and WV.

I tried to put up a top 8 in no particular order because tbh I can't judge anymore how many hours I spent listening to the artists that made the top of my list at the start of the year

The problem with YouTube scrobbles though is that unless you edit the titles etc manually, it will count things (official video) and features which screw up your count for artists and such; leaving your last fm a total mess. You can use it, but i choose not to, even if a chunk of my listening happens through yt.
