Very happy with the AC results! Would've preferred Lillasyster over Alvaro but tbh I didn't really like either song in that duel so I'm not too bothered. Absolutely over the moon that Clara Klingenström made it through with what is probably my favourite song of this whole MF (or second after Kadiatou). Gosh I never thought I'd see the day me and @Stargazer agree when it comes to MF! :lol:

I'm pleased with the results of AC, especially happy that Clara managed to beat Eva/Ewa, as a song there is no doubt which one was good, but I still thought that the grannies would be hard to beat, so that was a good surprise!

Also happy that Paul Rey made it, although less surprising in his duel, so with Paul Rey and Clara in the final now the actually two best songs of the season managed to eventually qualify to the final. Now, I don't think any of them stand a chance of winning whole MF, and admittedly none of them have the whole package to win either, but at least happy that they made it to the final where they should be.

As for the other two duels, I couldn't care less, they are all bad songs, but at least Klara and Alvaro were the better evils in their respective duels, so I guess in the end of the day the deserving entries made it to the final from AC.

As for the final, this is my ranking (based on the songs alone):

2. Paul Rey
3. Eric Saade
4. The Mamas
5. Dotter
6. Danny Saucedo
7. Charlotte Perrelli
8. Anton Ewald
9. Klara Hammarström
10. Alvaro Estrella
11. Arvingarna

And my ranking of the finalists (based on the overall package):

1. Eric Saade
2. Dotter
3. Clara Klingenström (gurl plz, with a better staging and styling you'd be #1 here too, for starters drop the guitar!)

5. Paul Rey
6. Danny Saucedo
7. Charlotte Perrelli
8. Anton Ewald
9. Klara Hammarström
10. Alvaro Estrella
11. Arvingarna
12. Tusse

Now the worst entry in the final will probably win the public vote it seems, but at least with Paul and Klara in the final now, the international juries (who I think will like those entries) might push Tusse further down the jury vote (one can at least hope) and maybe there is a chance a better entry will win in the end (even if he'll win the public vote), but it all comes down to how the jury vote will look like and if they'll rank the public #2-#3 (which I think could be Eric and Clara by how things are shaping up) high enough.

If Tusse wins, it will be the first time since MF'05 that the worst entry in the final wins MF, and on top of that the worst Swedish ESC entry since 1965 (which I guess would be an accomplishment of some sort!).

Today I saw Eric Saade’s performance on yt. Wow what a pretentious crap, I loled. Generic song, annoying vocals and wtf dance moves.

Manboy will always be the Saade pinnacle in MF for me - could watch the performance on a loop and never get tired of it.

So are we thinking that this will be down to a Tusse/Saade/Dotter/Mamas fight? Or can there genuinely be a dark horse? Tusse would be a bland choice for sure.

My final ranking

Overall: a great final line-up that is stronger than last year, however there isn't really any ESC winners in this line-up, a potential bronze medalist perhaps. I think Eric Saade or Dotter would be the best choice for ESC but this is my personal taste:

1. Tusse

3. Paul Rey

4. Anton Ewald

5. Eric Saade

6. Charlotte Perrelli

7. ehh the rest
