I didn't think I would've ever said a things like this, but at the moment the level of the entries for ESC 2017 is so bad that even San Marino stands a chance of qualifying. I wonder why SMRTV (San Marino's Royal and Totally awesome Valentina) hasn't officially confirmed Wendy Sulca icon yet. It's always like this, when male singers are rumoured to participate in ESC, they are always immediately confirmed, when it's female singers, it's never true. I hope for a good Sammarinese entry even if it won't be Wendy Sulca.

I actually think San Marino may sit out in 2017, depending on whether the EBU is going to adjust the Voting system or leave it as is. As of right now, San Marino's votes were cut in half and they clearly do not like that and openly voiced their dissatisfaction. To be perfectly honest, I can't say I blame them. Yes, it's the tiniest country ever but it's still strange if they are being singled out so any Micro nation will think twice of returning to the contest.

It was insane for SMTV not to call her in 2015 and 2016. Especially since San Marino is probably better known now as the home of Valentina Monetta.

They don't have to host if they don't want to or can't afford it, in the highly unlikely case they ever win
