Hmmm it's really hard to predict anything this year... but let's try this.

It's a bit weird, but I think place 1 is harder to predict than place 26. BO means betting odds, which I take as a base. but sometimes don't use, because some songs are in some kind of niche where more people will vote for it and sometimes betting odds go way to far on the positive side. I've also taken into account the order of the songs, Lithuania at place 23 and Ireland at place 4, would have given different effects of course.


1 Cyprus (1-3) BO:1 Contender for the win. High in the betting odds, Good place in the final Everybody speaks about it. But, the vocals aren't the best. So if Salvadors will is key, this song is not going to win. So some juries will not like it.
2 France (1-4) BO:3 Contender for the win. Will be the more beautiful song of this year, vocals are good, this probably is Salvadors song, but I'm not expecting it will beat Cyprus, that may burns everything to the ground. And it may don't have the best place in the order.
3 Israel (2-15) BO:2 Was a big contender, but I really don't know anymore where it will end. Maybe 15 is too low, but it's just to make a point. 21st is a good place to be in the order and it's still a big favorite, but people will vote for Cyprus instead I guess

4 Germany (3-10) BO:5
5 Estonia (4-10) BO:10
6 Lithuania (4-10) BO:4
7 Norway (4-15) BO:9
8 Hungary (5-15) BO:16 The first one where I'm not following the betting odds. Some people will hate this, but this is a polarizing song. It can get points from everywhere in the televotes and will get some points from juries too
9 Moldova (3-15) BO:17
10 Bulgaria (6-16) BO:12

11 Australia (8-20) BO:11
12 Sweden (6-16) BO: 7
13 Italy(8-16) BO:8
14 Ireland(10-20) BO:6 6th is too high for them. I don't know which Irish guy put millions on it, but I don't think a win will happen. But have definitely a good draw, but on the other hand Netherlands has quality before them and Cyprus will burn them to the ground
15 Czech Republic (5-18) BO:13
16 Netherlands (10-20) BO:20 is in a niche I guess and will get votes from Northern Europe Juries and televotes.(but I can be biased about this song)
17 Ukraine(10-20) BO:21
18 Albania(15-20) BO:24 I think he is the best singer and Europe will notice that in the result
19 Austria (10-20) BO:18
20 Finland(15-24) BO:14

21 Serbia (18-24) BO:26
22 Portugal (15-24) BO:22
23 Denmark (20-25) BO:16 I think this song was bland, and had some luck with the SF they were in. I thought it would be way better, but it isn't.
24 Slovenia (20-25) BO:25

25 Spain(23-26) BO:19 Well with maths the EV of songs of the big 6 that should be on the lowest sides of the ranks should be 2, this is a good contender especially if you are 2nd in the series
26 United Kingdom (25-26) BO:23 Like Spain, this song would have normally be killed in the semi's.
