Just looked at this weeks UK chart and Eurovision wise it's depressing reading. While last year i think there was something like 6 or 8 songs made the Top 100, this year the only songs that made it are: Sweden (The winner obviously) at No.11, Loic Nottet for Belgium at No.69 (that one totally baffles me, didn't rate it at all) and Polina Gagarina for Russia at No.97.

I know no one's interested but just for the record after listening to my Eurovision 2015 cd's a number of times i've decided my Top 10 from this year is:
1. Austria (always was)
2. Latvia
3. Norway
4. Slovenia
5. Cyprus
6. Estonia
7. Lithuania
8. Sweden
9. Russia
10. Australia

This would have happened if the system from 1 to 12 points (instead of voting from first to the very last place) was used in Vienna:

01. SWEDEN 366
02. ITALY 311
03. RUSSIA 292
04. BELGIUM 217
05. LATVIA 176
06. AUSTRALIA 167
07. ESTONIA 94
08. NORWAY 90
09. ISRAEL 80
10. ALBANIA 62
11. ARMENIA 55
12. GEORGIA 53
13. SERBIA 49
14. ROMANIA 42
15. MONTENEGRO 42
16. SLOVENIA 40
17. AZERBAIJAN 40
18. LITHUANIA 33
19. GREECE 23
20. CYPRUS 22
21. POLAND 17
22. HUNGARY 15
23. GERMANY 9
24. FRANCE 8
25. SPAIN 7
26. AUSTRIA 6
27. UNITED KINGDOM 4

I've just re-watched the whole thing. I started liking the stage more and general impression improved as well, but the voting was a mess.

Some heckler (from OGAE sector?) screamed in Russian very loud: "BITCHES!" during the last set of votes (Georgia) :lol

My one and only Eurovision that I attended in person. So many good memories, so many good songs.

Edurne, Maraaya, Il Volo, Maria Elena Kyriakou, Aminata, Elina Born & Stig Rästa, Leonor Andrade, Molly Sterling, Voltaj, Knez, Trintje Oosterhuis, Loic Nottet, Marta Jandóva & Vaclav Noid Barta, Monika Kuszynska were my favourites that year

Netflix explains Eurovision.
The States would have been impressed, I guess. Look at 1:38

I'm just watching the charity show "Austria for Life" hosted by Arabella Kiesbauer. I think you could wake her up at 3:00 in the morning and she could moderate a whole Eurovision show out of the blue.
