So far, no confirmation from TVRI.
One of Eurovision Indonesia Group members asked the broadcaster and they said there is no decision yet for the contest. I have a feeling that we may not join the contest because the national broadcaster (and other private broadcasters) will focus on Asian Games 2018 (yes, we're hosting the games next year).

However, because the participation doesn't require full ABU membership, it opens the possibility that the private broadcasters might consider to join.

*I am hoping that .net tv (the newest and hippiest private broadcaster) considering the contest.
** also, if we join the contest, I hope for our indie music scene that compete in the contest.
