Germany GERMANY 2025 - Abor and Tynna - Baller

I think this time we don't have to be concerned about the viewers. In the first three rounds I believe that Raab and his Jury will let only move on 9-10 good acts to the final. I try to be positive. I can still be disappointed later.

Linda Teodosiu also submitted an entry.
She ended up being Top 3 in DSDS back in 2008 (when the show was still relevant), took part in the Romanian national final (2019).
She's got a great voice and she truly can perform very well.
So far, she still didn't have the right material, though.
I'm curious to listen to her new material, though.

She was my favourite back then and I was soo angry when she didn´t reach the final but instead we had boring rocker Thomas Godoj and cheesy ballad singer Fady Maalouf.
I am starting to like her ... my favorite soccer team plays in purple (and white).

Says a lot how far our expectations have fallen though if we applaud NDR for something that should be obvious.

According to Christina Strobl (ARD), Raab/RTL/ARD won't be working together for 2026 - unless Germany wins this year.
Apparently, "only winning ESC justifies such a collaboration".

I can totally understand that our national final this year might be quite expensive but I'm really, really, really fed up with NDR/ARD changing our format every single year.
Why can't we have our own "Melodi Grand Prix" or "UMK" just for once? - Create a winning formula (viewing figures, relevant/newcomers/established acts, Spotify/radio support) and come up with a title/name for our NF without changing it every single year.

Why can't we have our own "Melodi Grand Prix" or "UMK" just for once? - Create a winning formula (viewing figures, relevant/newcomers/established acts, Spotify/radio support) and come up with a title/name for our NF without changing it every single year.

Well at least now NDR can already plan for ESC 2026 without Raab. NDR always thinks ahead!

We´ll most likely won´t have that many "big names" in the NF, even if a certain user at ESC kompakt always predicts that.
